Kava - Herbal
Product description: The Kava Herbal diet pill is a product based on Kava Kava herbs. Kava, or Piper Methysticum, is a member of the pepper family, which grows across the South Pacific. Islanders use the roots to make a milky, mild narcotic drink, which numbs the mouth and acts as a relaxant. In the West, alternative health shops market this product as a herbal supplement to promote sleep, relieve stress and ease pain. Animal studies show that kava lactones alter neuronal excitation through direct interactions with voltage-dependent ion channels. This causes Kava’s muscle relaxant, anaesthetic, anxiolytic and anticonvulsive properties. Several isolated cases of psychotic and severe diatomic reactions following the use of Kava suggest that Kava also has psychoactive properties. However, there is no conclusive evidence that kava interferes with normal cognitive processes. Products based on Kava Kava have caused severe liver damage to more than 100 patients worldwide, and several of these cases have been fatal. Canada and other countries banned Kava-Kava in 2002. The United States' Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has published numerous warnings concerning this substance.
Side effects: Kava Kava has caused very severe side effects like hypertention, reduced protein levels, blood cell abnormalities, muscle weakness, shortness of breath, dizziness, visual impairment and severe liver damage. Several patients who used kava products had liver failure and needed subsequent liver transplantation.

Solidax ADX
Product description: Solidax was developed by a US company in 2005. It is based on Synephrine, Picolinate and Pyrovate to suppress appetite and to increase the metabolic rate and caloric expenditure, without having the negative central nervous effects of comparable medications. Through its stimulation of specific adrenergic receptors (beta-3, but not beta-1, beta-2 or alpha-1) Solidax is stimulating fat metabolism without the cardiovascular side effects experienced by some patients using medicaments stimulating beta-adrenergic receptors. The effect of the ingredients contained in Solidax have been proven in controlled laboratory human weight loss studies: (American Journal of Clinical Nutrition 56:630-635, 55:771-776)The Weight Loss Institute has rated Solidax to be the best product currently available on the market.
Dosage: One capsule of Solidax ADX should be taken three times a day.
Side effects: No serious side effects have been reported.
Phentermine
Due to many requests from patients and customers, we hereby emphasize that The Weight Loss Institute recommends using the recently developed
Solidax ADX, instead of trying to loose weight by taking Phentermine.
Product description: Phentermine was first approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 1959 as an appetite suppressant for treatment of obesity. Phentermine is currently sold under the brand names Ionamin® (Medeva Pharmaceuticals) and Adipex-P® (Gate Pharmaceuticals) and is also available as a generic medication, known as "Phentermine". It is a prescription based diet pill that works as an appetite suppressant and a central nervous system stimulant. Phentermine is one of the leading weight loss drugs, recommended for people who suffer from obesity, have an elevated body mass or need to lose more than 10 pounds. Clinical trials reported that use of Phentermine with a 1,000-calorie-a-day diet reduced weight by 26.9 lb (12.2 kg) compared to a 10.5 lb (4.8 kg) weight loss with diet only.Note: Few people know that many products marketed on the internet as Phentermine are in fact not real Phentermine and produced of cheap, relatively familiar ingredients. Unfortunately several online pharmacies sell these to achieve a higher profit without even informing their customers of this fact.
Side effects: As your body adjusts to the medication, it may cause dry mouth, sleeplessness, irritability, an upset stomach, or constipation for the first few days. The side effects are mild, and they usually improve with continued treatment. If these side effects persist over a prolonged period of time, discontinue use and contact your doctor.

Xerisan ASA
Product description: According to the Institute's initial research, "Xerisan ASA" is one the most promising diet pill introduced on the US market in recent years. The main ingredients in Xerisan are Synephrine, Phaseolus Vulgaris, Picolinate and Pyrovate. The latest research has shown that in the prescribed combination Phaseolus Vulgaris acts as a blocker of the alpha-amylase enzyme. This has the effect of reducing the amount of carbohydrates that are broken down to dextrins, and then later to glucose. The end result is that part of the starches ingested pass through the patient's digestive system undigested, realizing a lower energy intake and an effective decrease in body fat storage. The other ingredients in Xerisan ASA further stimulate the fat metabolism without the cardiovascular side effects experienced by some patients using drugs that stimulate the beta-adrenergic receptors. The Institute considers the above as the main reasons for the remarkable initial test results of Xerisan. Although Xerisa ASA has only just arrived on the US market in January 2006, the effects of some of the ingredients have already been proven in previous controlled laboratory studies and published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition ref. 55:771-776, ref.56:630-635.The Weight Loss Institute considers this product to have such a great potential that we recommend it to all overweight and obese patients not suffering from any serious digestive disorder.
Side effects: No serious side effects have been reported from the use of Xerisan.
